Nettle Cordial & Gingerbread Offer

(1 Bottle of Nettle Cordial & 8 Gingerbread Biscuits)

If you are missing events as much as we are, then you can recreate our most popular event combination at home!

Sit out in the sun with some delicious Nettle Cordial and enjoy a Gingerbread Biscuit or two... I'm sure that you can find some jousting on YouTube!

We make our Nettle Cordial from our own nettles, early on in the season to get the very best flavour, grown well away from dogs and car fumes. The pink colour is natural, and the result is a delightfully refreshing drink that can be described as having an 'earthy elderflower' flavour.

We recommend that our Nettle Cordial is made up with sparkling water, but it is also good with still water, or... as a flavouring in gin & tonic, vodka or white wine.

Cordials have a long history dating back to the Italian apothecaries of the Renaissance, and were deemed to be medicinal. They were generally alcoholic and were flavoured with herbs and spices.

Our cordials are non-alcoholic, but use the flavours and ingredients of earlier cordials to produce a range of historically inspired drinks.

Gingerbread biscuits were extremely popular during the 18th Century. This recipe comes from the northwest of Britain and is sweet and buttery with a spiced ginger kick.
