2 Bottles of English Verjus

Verjus (or verjuice) is an 'acidifier' that predates the use of citrus fruits in England. Medieval European verjus was normally made from unripe grapes, while English verjus was made from crab apples. The term 'verjus' literally means 'green (as in young) juice' and can be made from a variety of young acidic plants.

It can be used for deglazing, in sauces & dressings, or anywhere you might use a vinegar or citrus juice in cooking and cocktails.

(Due to packaging requirements we are selling the bottles of English Verjus in pairs, and it can not be purchased as single bottle.)
